I’ve featured Audrey’s beautiful butterfly jewellery here before, and I was so excited when I saw the pictures from her recent wedding. Thank to Audrey for allowing me to share her gorgeous wedding here. And I’m so jealous of her Jenni Packham dress! This talented lady did all the graphic design herself, and incorporated items from her jewellery line as special gifts to the bridal party.
Here’s what Audrey had to say:
“It’s been a busy few months at Papillon Belle, so I took some time out to marry the love of my life this month! 🙂
The wedding took place in the homestead on Lockestone farm outside Stanford in the Western Cape.”
Service providers:
“My amazing dress is by British Designer Jenny Packham. I first spotted this dress in teal green when Kate Middleton wore it and knew I was going to get married in that dress one day :)”
“All the bridesmaids dresses were unique and the shoes from Errol Arendz all matched mine.”
“James wore a tie by Good Heavens and bought socks for all his groomsman from Feat.”
“My beautiful wedding ring was made from diamonds inherited from James’ grandmother. His ring was cast from the root of a fig tree by Nic Bladen. The crystal necklace was a gift from James on our first anniversary and is 100 years old.”
“It was the perfect opportunity to give my bridesmaids and Mother some Papillon Belle jewellery to celebrate this happy occasion. Each bridesmaid received a ring and charm pendant or earrings.”
“My beautiful Mother wearing her Papillon Belle pendant and earrings.”
“Each bridesmaid got a ring and charm pendant or earrings.”
“My amazing sister was my biggest support!”
“In keeping with the traditional ‘Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue’, I myself wore a blue butterfly wing ring as my lucky charm.”
“My generous, kind and proud dad :)”
“Exchanging rings, I was wearing my lucky charm…a blue butterfly wing ring.”
“My handsome husband :)”
“I did all the graphic design for the invites, thank you cards and table settings.”
Wow what a beautiful wedding!!!!!
