Over the last couple of weeks I’ve managed to pick up a few sweet vintage items, which I thought I’d share with you.
I picked up this lovely little pale blue pyrex bowl at the Milnerton market a couple of weeks ago. I fell in love with the colour (definitely my favourite). This was the medium bowl in the set, but unfortunately I didn’t have enough cash with me to bring its other family members home with me.
Last Sunday we made a quick trip to The Palms Market in Woodstock. Die Kattebak vintage market happened to be on along with the normal food market, and I found this Tala Cook’s Measure at one of the stalls. I’ve already got another one (as my husband was quick to point out), but this one was in really good condition, so I couldn’t pass it up.
Lastly, I finally got my hands on a Tala bowl, thanks to a recent offer from Superbalist (yes, I know it isn’t vintage, but it’s definitely vintage-inspired). It’s also in my favourite colour, and I’ve already used it to mix up some yummy home-made bread.
Where is your favourite place for vintage treasures?
