Today marks the end of our series on 30 Days of Creativity. Over the last month I’ve shared 20 projects. I’ve tried to select projects that are relatively easy and simple, and there should be something for everyone! I really hope that you’ve felt inspired in one way or another. If you’ve made any of the…
Loving…bunny jars {30 Days of Creativity}
I know that this isn’t a new idea, but I think that these re-purposed bunny jars are really sweet. A perfect way to up-cycle all your leftover jars (and these pastel colours are so beautiful). You can find the full tutorial at Torie Jayne. Images via Torie Jayne.
Loving…fun with felt {30 Day of Creativity}
Since sharing the post about felt rose bowls last week, I couldn’t resist making one of my own. I managed to source some industrial felt at Kehl’s. I think it came out quite nicely, I’m tempted to make some more in different sizes. Since I had lots of felt left over, I was inspired to…
Loving…a cork trivet {30 Days of Creativity}
I’d love to make one of these cork trivets from recycled wine corks, but it seems that many wines only come with screw tops now (well, the wine that we drink, anyway). If anyone has some spare corks lying around, please send them my way, otherwise I’ll be forced to drink more wine! This project…
Loving…chocolate tart {30 Days of Creativity}
It’s time to get creative in the kitchen! I’ve been meaning to share this recipe for a while, since I found it in the Jan/Feb issue of Fresh Living magazine. Inspired by the movie Chocolat, this tart is really rich and delicious, but not too sweet. It uses quite a bit of chocolate, so I’d recommend…
Loving… Pom Pom Fruit {30 Days of Creativity}
Today’s project is a bit more complex than usual, but I just had to share it. I’m sure that most of us made pom poms as kids, but I never would have thought of making pom pom fruit! At first glance they look pretty complicated, but there are some wonderful tutorials over at Mr Printables. This…
Loving…a rose bowl {30 Days of Creativity}
I love the versatility of this project! This beautiful and functional “rose bowl” is made from industrial felt (although I’m sure that normal felt will do too). It’s perfect for any kind of storage, and I’m definitely planning on making a few! The full tutorial can be found here (it’s in Swedish, but thank goodness…
Loving…a magnetic memo board {30 Days of Creativity}
For today’s project I thought I’d share this cool and functional magnetic memo board. All you really need is a cheap cookie sheet, which you can cover with self-adhesive wallpaper, shelf liner paper, or even washi tape! And then you have somewhere to use your glitter magnets.
